- What is Freelancer?
- Bidonn is an online outsourcing platform that puts employers and businesses in contact with a global network of freelancers. Any member can post a project, whether a short- or long-term job, and choose from skilled freelancers who offer bid proposals with rate quotes and time estimates for completing the work. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement. Employers can have their pick of thousands of freelancers who have the exact skills needed to get the job done, without undertaking the expense and commitment of hiring full-time employees in person. Bidonn can tap into a readily available source of constant part-time and full-time work opportunities from employers who are specifically seeking them out.
- How do I sign up?
- Fill out a short signup form. You will be asked to create a unique username for identification in our system, provide a valid email address, and confirm that you have read our Terms and Conditions. You don't have to give any personal information to start your Freelancer membership. Confirm your email address. When you submit the registration form, we will send a verification email to the email address you provided upon signing up. Follow the link provided on the email to activate your Freelancer account. Create your profile. Fill out your profile correctly and completely to let the Freelancer community know who you are as a person and what you're looking for professionally.
- How do I edit my Profile?
- To edit your profile, follow these steps: Log in to your bidonn account. Click your thumbnail profile picture at the upper right corner of your Dashboard. Select Profile. Click Edit Profile on your profile page. Click the pencil icon next to the profile section you want to update. Click Save.
- Personal Profile
- We’re taking a step further towards more authentic profiles on Bidonn. Your personal profile will showcase your true self and build more trust with your clients. Profile Name Your display name will now show your personal name. This encourages more employers to build trust, thus giving you the chance to land more projects. Profile Name Conditions Your name and initial of your last name will be used instead of your username in public areas, for example the bidonn directory. Your full name may only be used privately with users you have a relationship with, for example if the user is in your contact list or you have worked on a project with them. Profile Logo Your profile picture should be a high quality profile image of yourself. The recommended resolution is 280x280 pixels and the maximum file size is 2MB. Professional Headline This should specify the line of work that you do as a professional bidonn. You can use your work title, the areas of work that you specialize in, or your very own slogan or tagline (maximum of 50 characters). Profile Summary The summary should include a brief introduction of yourself, your skills and qualifications, and what you can offer or guarantee to potential clients for projects you’d like to complete.
- How do I send a Mail
- To send a private Mail: Go to the mail section in your account page Click the compose message thread on the left pane of your Inbox. Type your message and hit Reply. Employers are the only one who can start a conversation with their bidders. Bidonn will only be able to message an employer once the employer messages them.
